The Oil Rig is a fishing location where PVP and item drops are enabled. It is only accessible via the helicopter in the Farm Pond. It is the only fishing location where there are no fish merchants or boat managers and is home to 14 fish species with a majority being groupers.
At the Oil Rig, the player benefits from unique loot and benefits such as the Quality Scroll (1/200 chance of being caught), fish of increased value, and increased chances for certain rare loot items. However, players can only fish from the bottom level of Oil Rig requiring traversal throughout the structure to return to the top, should they wish to leave.
To return to spawn, the player must stand on the Heli-Pad at the top of the Oil Rig. A helicopter will arrive every 5 minutes to teleport all players on the heli-pad back to spawn.
ALL ITEMS, PETS, AND ARMOR IN INVENTORY WILL BE LOST UPON DEATH AT THE OIL RIG EXCLUDING FISHING ROD, FISHING MENU, AND HAT. Items stored in /pv # will not be lost.

Shard
The Rig Shard as well as the PVP Shard can be found at Oil Rig at a substantially increased rate of 1/100 as opposed to the 1/750 chance when fishing outside of Oil Rig.
The Vulcan Stone can also be found much more easily at Oil Rig at a rate of 1/1000 at all times as opposed to the 1/5000 chance only possible during the night at all other locations.
Runes
There are NO runes at Oil Rig and it is the only location to have a complete lack of them.
