Great Lakes is the 8th unlockable location of FishOnMC. The Great Lakes are the largest group of freshwater lakes in the world. The total surface is around 95,000 square miles. They lie on the Canada & United States border and it has five interconnected lakes: Lake Erie, Lake Huro, Lake Michigan, Lake Ontario and Lake superior.

The Great Lakes have been of great use to Native American tribes for thousands of years. Many people wrote about the abundance of monstrous-sized fish fished up from the Great Lakes. Due to this, the lakes suffered from overfishing, and because of this, as of today, 61 fish species in the Great Lakes are considered to be threatened or endangered. Thanks to the Great Lakes Fishery Commission, the Great Lakes remain a treasured Canadian and United States fishery, and to this day, they still attract millions of fishermen. The lakes continue to provide jobs, recreation, and food.
