Cairns is the 14th unlockable location of FishOnMC. This location has a long and proud history as one of the foremost fishing locations anywhere on the planet. Recreational fishing is a part of daily life for many in the community here.

Real Life History

The first 1000+ pound black marlin was caught of coast in 1966, this sparked attention and a sport fishing industry got created that still thrives to this day. Cairns plays a significant role in recreational fishing in the local community, its also a important social activity enjoyed by many residents in Cairns. This also contributes significantly to the regional economy, especially the tourist economy.

To this day the great numbers in tourism encourages and educates
the community and provides great help to sustain natural resource management and conservation.
