Everglades
Everglades is the fifth available location in FishOnMC. Sometimes called the “River of Grass,” this location is a vast and swampy basin filled with extreme biodiversity.
Real Life History
Based on real life, the Everglades has been a hub for fishing for centuries. Native American tribes relied on its waters for sustenance, fishing species like bass and catfish. European settlers introduced larger boats, and by the 20th century, the Everglades became a popular sport fishing destination. On December 6th, 1947 the Everglades officially became a United States National Park and now encompasses 1.5 million acres of protected land. Today, the Everglades remains a top fishing spot, attracting fishermen from all over the globe, while preserving its rich blend of history and folklore.
