Hawaii

Hawaii is the 14th unlockable location of FishOnMC. This Location is the only US State completely made up of islands. It is made up of 137 islands yet only 7 of them are inhabited.

Real Life History

The Hawaiian fishing industry was shaped by fish markets and fisheries. Many Japanese immigrants who were
skilled commercial fishermen lived in Hawaii and turned to the sea to make
a living. In the early 20th century, the fishing industry was widely impacted due to new laws to preserve local fish resources.

Today, annual catch limits are put in place for specific fish or coral for
commercial fisheries on the Hawaiian islands.
