Kenai River is the second unlockable location of FishOnMC. This location has the longest river of southcentral Alaska, it harbors a small fishing village,
Port Moosehorn, which various locals call home. Many of the locals can be interacted with.

Real Life History

Kenai River has a long history of fishing traditions. Long before crowds of people came to the lower rivers to chase salmons, there was a salmon and trout fishery around Cooper Landing.

Tribes have relied on the river's resources for sustenance and cultural practices. With constructions over time that improved access to the river,
fishing activity increased and by the late 20th century Kenai River became
famous for its record-sized king salmon. This lured in even more fishermen worldwide that contributed to the local economy.
