Rod Parts

Rod Parts are an essential part of FishOnMC. There are three types of rod parts, Reels that increase Reel Speed, Poles that increase Bite Speed, and Lines that increase Line Strength. To create rod parts, visit the Artisan located at spawn.

Some Rod Parts have an associated Power Requirement to use them. If you do not have the required amount of Power, you can still use a part, but with less effectiveness.

If you have 50% to 99.9% of the required Power, the part will be 50% effective.

If you have 25% to 49.99% of the required Power, the part will be 25% effective.

If you have 0 to 24.99% of the required Power, you will not gain any stats from the part.

Rod parts can be enhanced in two different ways: by using tech and by calibrating them.

Rod Tech is made at The Manufacturer and increases the stats of Poles and Reels by a percentage based on the rarity of the Tech used.

There are two types of Rod Tech: The Blanks and The Gears.
Blanks improve the stats of Poles, while Gears improve the stats of Reels.

Rod Parts, specifically Poles & Reels, can be calibrated at the calibrator NPC located at the Fish Pro Shops behind spawn (or use the command /calibrator if you are rank or higher).

When at the calibrator NPC, you can calibrate your reel or pole for money; the cost will vary based on the rarity of your rod part. When rolled, you will have a random chance to roll for some extra bonuses.
