Amazon River is the 10th unlockable location of FishOnMC.
This location, one of the longest rivers in the world, is around 4,000 miles long. However due to its complex river system of which most is in remote areas, it is unclear where the river starts and ends.

Fishing is the single most important food source in the Amazon Basin. The fishing industries has produced up to 1 million tons per year in Brazil, which is about half the country's fish production.
Being the most important source of food, tribes use a wide variety of fishing tools to secure their catches like nets, harpoons, and bow & arrow. When technological advancement were made, gillnets became the new go-to fishing tool and are still used to this day.
